Large-Scale Exercise at Hotel Boss in Warsaw under the HOTHREAT Project

As part of the HOTHREAT project, Safety Core was responsible for the preparation and implementation of a large-scale exercise carried out at Hotel Boss in Warsaw.
The exercise was particularly significant from the perspective of practically testing security solutions in an actively operating hotel facility. Its scenario made it possible to assess response capability, the organisation of activities, and cooperation between the involved participants under conditions requiring rapid action, effective communication, and efficient coordination.
An important strength of this activity was the opportunity to observe how procedures and planning assumptions perform in a real operational environment. Large-scale exercises are especially valuable because they go beyond document-based analysis and move into practical verification of the readiness of the facility, its staff, and its cooperation mechanisms in an incident situation.
The exercise at Hotel Boss also provided an opportunity to deepen cooperation between the project experts and the facility representatives. Joint activities of this kind help identify real needs, point to areas requiring improvement, and refine solutions aimed at increasing the resilience of the hospitality sector.
The implementation of this exercise reflects the main objective of the HOTHREAT project: to develop practical tools and methods that support the security, preparedness, and resilience of hotels and conference centres in the face of contemporary threats.
